Theater Jerk Comics Section

Another crop of theater-themed comics, culled from GoComics.com and Comics Kingdom (formerly Daily Ink): Dana Simpson’s foxy Ozy and Millie, Mike Baldwin’s gag panel Cornered, the ever-brilliant Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson, Jerry van Amerongen’s panel strip Ballard Street, Kieran Meehan’s Pros & Cons (the strip originally known as A Lawyer, a Doctor and a Cop), Hi & Lois (now done by Chance Browne and Greg & Brian Walker), Tom Armstrong’s eternal infant Marvin, Hi & Lois again, Mike Peters’ immortal Mother Goose & Grimm, and Jim Scancarelli’s Gasoline Alley (a continuity strip founded by Frank King in 1918, which unlike Marvin lets its characters age in real time yet is reluctant to kill them off. Recent storylines have featured the still-active Skeezix Wallet, who is in his mid-90s, and his adoptive father Walt Wallet, who is at least 114 now.)

I heartily advise you to subscribe to GoComics and Comics Kingdom. Good fun.
