I scored a ticket to the English portion of Eddie Izzard’s multi-lingual comedy tour-de-force at Yale’s Whitney Humanities Center last week. An intimate, short-notice show to prep for the American leg of his Force Majeure tour and especially for a set he’ll do in Normandy on the 70^th anniversary of D-Day. That Normandy set will be presented consecutively in German, French and English, which is how Izzard did it at Yale. They were separate sets with separate admissions. All sold out, of course.
