Theater Comics Bonanza

More theater-themed comic strips, which I found on the invaluable GoComics site, for discriminating aesthetes.

This latest batch features Jason Poland’s Robbie and Bobby, Dan Dougherty’s Beardo, Frank Cummings’ Brain Squirts, Dave Coverly’s Speed Bump, Scott Hilburn’s The Argyle Sweater, Alison Garwood’s Neurotica, Peter Mann’s The Quixote Syndrome (retelling Playboy of the Western World playwright J.M. Synge’s journey to the Aran Islands), John Deering & John Newcombe’s Zack Hill, Bill Whitehead’s beet-freaking Free Range, Doug Bratton’s Pop Culture Shock Therapy, Mark Anderson’s Andertoons, Darren Bell’s Candorville, Joe Staton & Mike Curtis’ upkeep of the late Chester Gould’s Dick Tracy (which has been playing out this awesome Gruesome Arsenic and Old Lace storyline for weeks now) and Brooke McEldowney’s Pibgorn (with dramaturgical annotations, as the strip’s adaptation of Romeo & Juliet drew to a close).
