Just got a call from David Pilot. I know him as a participant in the Get to the Point! storytelling/spoken word series I host at Café Nine. Newish to town, David’s directed for some small theaters in the area, including Theater 4.
David Pilot is producing a script by one of my favorite local playwrights, Steve Bellwood. It’s one of Bellwood’s more realistic dramas, called Collateral Damage. The production will be directed by James Leaf.
But first they have to cast it.
There’s an actual scheduled audition, TONIGHT (July 23) from 6 to 9 p.m. at 45 Nash Street. But the process of looking for appropriate actors for this fiery social satire will continue.

Chris update on my play production now cast re-titled “The Specials” will show at Whitney Arts centre from Sept. 19 to 29 production fund-raiser at Luck and Levity Brewshop Friday 13 7pm to 10pm variety of live music & performance (any suggestions?) starting indiegogo campaign this next week to raise funds for this and hopefully subsequent productions am using me Jackday Pike compan name David Pilot is the producer, James Leaf director actors include Mariah Sage, Daniel White, James Leaf and a New York import Irena (?) can’t remember her second name anyway thought I’d keep you informed be good, enjoy steve b.
