We were hiding a lot in those day. Some of us were hiding from our parents, or from committed relationships, or from having to choose a career. We were hiding from responsibility and judgement.

We hid also because we liked hiding. Those who thought we could do better, be better, tried to smoke us out. But we enjoyed the warmth and comfort of living underground, under the radar, in a crowd.
