		<description><![CDATA[I read the book as well; it was an interesting read.   One thing she didn&#039;t mention regarding Ernie Kovacs was that Frank was a pallbearer at Ernie&#039;s funeral.  Sometimes Ernie would have a well known celebrity under one of the &quot;Nairobi Trio&quot; masks and Frank played that role at one point.  

George and Jolene Schlatter, mentioned throughout the book, were also friends of Ernie&#039;s.  Jolene was an actress in Ernie&#039;s shows under the name Jolene Brand, in the ABC specials of the early 1960s, and Mr. Schlatter of course is the creator of Laugh-In and admits he was influenced by Ernie&#039;s brand of comedy.
